Reason for Rehome: Layla showed up at my shop about a year and a half ago in Monroe. After trying to befriend for about a month, I was able to get her home. She is a wonderful dog and she is very friendly with people once she gets to know them. I've had no issues with aggression. However, we have one inside cat and two outside cats. She actually got a hold of one of the outside cats and killed it. So, unfortunately, we need to find a new home for her. She has been trained at Curly's Top Dog. Knows sit, down, here, kennel, place, and heel on-leash(probably needs a tune-up on this one). Currently, Layla spends most of her time either in the kennel or outside in a small fenced in back yard. I'm very fond of her, but she does need a place free from cats and preferably a little more space.

Pros: She is good with people, but she takes a bit to warm up to them. Very cautious on the initial interactions and sometimes barks if she feels extra nervous. She loves me and my family very much and is not aggressive towards any humans. She has an energetic and happy personality. She sleeps in her kennel and she is well mannered. She gets along great with other dogs as well.

Cons: She hates cats, they are not safe around her.
